PRUITT GOES PRO!
It was a great night at the NWSL draft night as former Slammers FC player, Leah Pruitt, was selected #5 overall by NC Courage in the 2019 draft. Leah, who won an ECNL National Championship with Slammers, went on to play college soccer at USC where she earned a number of PAC12 honors. These honors included winning an NCAA National Championship in 2016.
This is another proud moment for the Slammers family as yet another alum goes on to be drafted in the NWSL First Round. We wish Leah all the best as she moves into professional soccer!
