SLAMMERS ALUM PLAYS FOR MEXICO

Slammers Alum Kiana Palacios got her 3rd and 4th caps for the Mexican WNT as they played out a double head vs USA this past weekend. Kiana played 90 minutes on Thursday evening as the two teams met for the first time in more than two years. The game, played at EverBank Field in Jacksonville (FL) ended 4-1 to the USA. Then on Sunday the two teams met again, at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston. This time out Kiana scored a headed goal in a 6-2 loss, of which 6 goals came in the first half alone.

Kiana played her college soccer at UCI and was drafted #35 overall to the Sky Blue FC in this past January’s 2018 NWSL draft.
