It was a night to celebrate for Christen Press, as she came home to So Cal on Friday evening as the US played their first ever game vs Chile. Press, who was being honored for picking up 100 caps back in June, was captain for the evening and scored the third goal as the US cruised to a 3-0 win over Chile.
The Slammer alum is now playing for Utah Royals in the NWSL, who sit in a playoff spot with just a couple of games remaining in the season. We wish Christen the best for the rest of the season as the Slammer family watch her continue to achieve just about everything you can in women’s soccer.
