Sarah Devine
Sarah has been coaching youth soccer since she was 14 years old. She started out working camps and coaching her younger sister’s youth team. Sarah played club in San Diego for the Rancho Santa Fe Attack and was a 4-year varsity starter at Poway High School. She committed to college at UC Irvine in her junior year of high school. Sarah started playing college soccer as a central defender for UC Irvine in 2008 and was a member of the 2010 NCAA Sweet 16 team. Her senior year, her team got into the NCAA tournament again. After her final season in 2011 she joined the coaching staff at UC Irvine as an undergraduate assistant. She continued coaching private lessons and summer camps through college. After receiving my BA degree in Cognitive Psychology with a minor in Education she joined UC Irvine as an assistant. In March of 2012 she then joined the Slammers Newport Beach organization with the Gu9 team. In April of 2014 Sarah was hired as an assistant coach at UC Riverside. They made it to the conference tournament for the first time since 2005. With the Highlanders, she primarily focuses on the defensive line. She has been playing with the San Diego Sea Lions since she was 16 years old. In 2013, the SD Sea Lions won the WPSL national championship in Sacramento, California. Sarah was crowned player of the tournament as a central defender! She currently coaches at UCR, Slammers and does performance coaching at Adrenaline Performance gym. Sarah is also pursuing her MA degree in athletic administration at Concordia University. She is an E licensed coach and hope to continue coaching at the youth and collegiate level for a very long time. Sarah loves being able to share the passion that she has for the game with others. Her coaching is always a work in progress and she is always open to learning from the coaches that surround her.

Currently is a soccer trainer at Adrenaline Sports performance in Corona, CA.
Played at UC Irvine as a center defender from 2008 to 2011. Starting player on the 2010 undefeated Big West conference regular season champion team. Played in two NCAA tournaments.
Currently play for the returning WPSL National Champions, the San Diego Sea Lions. Was the National Championship tournament player of the tournament. Have been on the roster since I was 16 years old.
Sister, Megan Devine, currently plays at the University of Redlands.
