Bryan Ponce

Bryan is a driven and passionate coach who strives on the development of his players skill by identifying their weaknesses in hopes of building their psychological confidence. He has also proven to manage, motivate and train his teams to their full potential.

Currently, Bryan coaches the boys Freshmen and JV Boy’s soccer teams at Mater Dei High School. He is in his third full season as the head coach. He has helped many of his former players reach the Varsity and Collegiate level.

As a player, Bryan started during his freshman and sophomore years at Mater Dei High School earning the Freshman of the Year award. He graduated as a Top 100 recruit listed by Top Drawer Soccer and ESPN and ended up attending Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. He later transferred to Vanguard University where he finished his collegiate career as team captain and received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration along with a Minor in Spanish. He is currently attending Long Beach State University where he is working on his MBA in Sports Management.
