2017 FEMALE YOUTH PLAYER OF THE YEAR
LAFC Slammers is very proud to announce that Jenna Nighswonger has won the 2017 Female Youth Player of the Year Award by Cal South. Jenna is currently playing with the LAFC Slammers USSDA 99/00 team, but is a proud graduate of the Slammers FC youth program. The coaching staff have seen Jenna grow tremendously in the past 5 years as she has gone from strength to strength.
On top of this award Jenna was also recently at US National Team Camp in Florida, as the U18 and U19 National Teams kicked off the 2018 programming with concurrent training camps from February 10th-17th 2018. Jenna, who has committed to play college soccer with Florida State, continues to impress and push into the National Team, where she has been for the past 3 years.
